My agency was asked to assist Lumber Liquidators in a full refresh of their website and brand. My concept was chosen by the client for its use of white space, lending itself to an editorial-esque approach. I wanted to rethink how Lumber Liquidators could showcase themselves entirely, moving their online presence toward a feeling of reliable quality with a dash of high fashion story-telling.

The concepts were well received so we then moved into rounds of feedback. I came to understand the importance of organizational process, and the challenges of collaborating with, one could say, too many cooks in the kitchen. From this, I learned how communication with clients and team members is about more than receiving critique; it is about promoting forward-moving progress by establishing two-way communication with key stakeholders.
